조지 프리데릭 헨델 서거 250주년을 맞이하여, 세계 정상급 바로크 오케스트라 두 곳과 지휘자 하워드 아르만이 헨델 사후 25년 뒤 런던 웨스트민스터 사원에서 열렸던 역사적인 '헨델 기념 연주회'의 레퍼토리를 연주하며 작곡가를 기립니다. 헨델이 세례를 받은 곳인 할레의 마르크트키르헤(시장 교회)에서 펼쳐진 이 뛰어난 영국-독일 합동 공연은 2009년 '헨델의 해'를 대표하는 미디어 하이라이트입니다.
